Where to check soybean bhav today

Mai Kisaan shows the latest soybean prices from every mandi that reports to the government, updated once a day after the afternoon data release. For each mandi you see three numbers. Min is the lowest price paid for a lot that day. Max is the highest price paid, usually for the best quality. Modal is the most common price and the best single number to judge the market.

Soybean MSP 2026-27

The MSP for yellow soybean is Rs 5,708 per quintal for 2026-27, up Rs 380 (7.1%) from Rs 5,328 in 2025-26. It was announced on 13 May 2026. MSP is the floor the government promises through procurement. When the mandi modal price is below MSP, check whether your state has opened procurement or a price-difference scheme before selling at a loss.

Main soybean mandis

Most soybean arrives in a few belts. In Madhya Pradesh watch Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Mandsaur, Neemuch and Shajapur. In Maharashtra watch Latur, Akola, Washim, Amravati, Hingoli and Jalna. In Rajasthan watch Kota, Baran and Jhalawar. When arrivals jump in these mandis from October to December, after harvest, rates usually soften. When arrivals slow from February onwards, rates often firm up.

What moves the soybean rate

Arrivals: heavy post-harvest supply pushes prices down. Soymeal export demand: soybean is crushed into oil and meal, and strong meal exports lift mandi rates. Edible oil import duty: cheaper imported oil reduces what mills pay for beans. Weather and crop size: a dry season or rain at harvest cuts supply and quality. Global prices: the Brazil, US and Argentina crops set the world soybean and meal price.

Getting a better price

Dry the crop, because high moisture is the most common reason for a lower bid. Clean it, because soil, stones and broken pods are deducted as foreign matter. Compare nearby mandis on the same day before you load the truck. Post a sell enquiry on Mai Kisaan so processors and traders can contact you directly, instead of selling only at the gate price. If you can store safely and the modal price is below MSP, avoid panic-selling at harvest.
